Artist application

We develop and manage a very small roster — position, voice, catalog, release cadence, distribution, commerce, and the rights records underneath all of it. Read the four things below before you fill anything in. If any of them is a problem, it is better for both of us that you find out here.

Before you apply

We are not a label and we do not buy your work.

You keep what you own. If we build something together, who owns it is written down before it is made, not after it succeeds.

We take very few.

The roster is small on purpose. A management practice that takes everyone is a mailing list.

We already run two artists of our own.

They are house intellectual property — built, voiced, and operated by us, and disclosed as such wherever they appear. We say this up front because you should know exactly who you would be standing beside, and because it is the clearest evidence we can offer that we know how this is built.

We work in records.

Rights, provenance, release calendars, and decisions live in one authoritative place from the first day. If that sounds like overhead, we are probably the wrong practice for you.

Application

One question carries most of the weight, and it is not the one about your catalog. You will hear back within two weeks — yes, no, or not yet, with the reason.

If it differs from your own, or if you have not settled on one yet, leave it.

This is the question we weigh most heavily. A look is not a position. Take the space you need.

"I do not know" is an acceptable answer and a common one. It is not disqualifying.
