The Scrypt Sprint · City Unknown · October 2026
The Portal
Eight fields. Seven answers and the place. All eight are scored — seven right answers and a wrong city is not a win, and a right city with six answers is not a win either.
Five attempts. After each one you are told how many of the eight are wrong. You are not told which. Closes —.
The Scrypt Sprint · City Unknown is the October 2026 edition of the Scrypt Sprint, run by Scrypt LLC. Free to enter. No purchase necessary. Open worldwide to entrants 18 and over.
One entry per person. Five attempts per entry; a correct entry closes itself. Additional accounts, addresses or identities do not earn additional places — only separate individuals are paid, and entries are reconciled to individuals before any seat is paid. One seat per solve: solvers who work a pack together share one seat, and a second entry carrying the same work is not a second place. A false statement made during verification voids the seat.
The portal closes 15 October 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Entries are graded after the close. Places are announced only in the Letter, and nowhere before it. Seats are decided seventy per cent on your own elapsed time and thirty per cent on the shared clock; an exact tie is settled by a fresh cipher to the tied solvers alone.
Winners identify themselves by email and choose their own method of payment. Unclaimed seats roll forward into the next edition. Full terms: satoshiscrypt.com/terms.
